Participant Medical & Liability Declaration
By registering for any event organized by Beirut Marathon Association, all runners confirm that
they are physically fit, medically able, and adequately trained to participate in the distance for
which they registered for. They declare that they have undertaken all necessary medical
examinations, tests, and consultations prior to the event and that they are in good health with no
condition that could endanger themselves or others during participation.
They fully understand and acknowledge that running events involve inherent risks, including but
not limited to injury, illness, permanent disability, or death. They voluntarily assume full
responsibility for any risk, injury, health complication, or incident that may occur before, during,
or after the event.
They agree that the event organizers, sponsors, partners, volunteers, medical teams, and all
affiliated parties shall not be held liable or responsible for any injury, illness, medical
emergency, or death arising from their participation. They confirm that they are solely
responsible for their decision to participate and that they are capable of completing the distance
they have selected.
By completing their registration, they knowingly and willingly waive any claims against the
organizers and accept full personal responsibility for their participation.
Important Medical Requirement – Mandatory Heart Screening
In accordance with the Health & Safety rules and regulations issued by the Ministry of Youth
and Sports in Lebanon, no registration for any road/trail race organized by the Beirut Marathon
Association or any other organizer, will be accepted unless the registered runner, without
exception, presents a valid heart screening test result at the time of bib collection.
Any runner who fails to provide a valid heart screening test will have their registration
considered void and will not be permitted to participate in the race, with no exceptions or
exemptions granted.
If one person would like to collect on behalf of a team / group, he/she will need to present all the
heart screening tests printed at time of BIB Collection.
To better prepare for the upcoming races in Lebanon by all organizations, contact your local
doctor for consultation or related NGOs and medical entities who are currently providing free /
discounted heart screening tests.

ONE GLOBAL RUN 2026 RULES AND REGULATIONS
- The Organizer reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these rules and regulations of the Event from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organizer shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, the Organizer will take into account the interests of all the affected participants.
- Any updates on the rules and regulations of the event will be notified on the official website, www.beirutmarathon.org & social media platforms and it is the responsibility of the affected participant to keep abreast with any changes.

Rules and regulations
- Once registration has been duly processed, there will be no fee refund for participants who do not eventually participate in the event, do not retrieve their BIB Numbers on time or in case of cancelation or sustain an injury.
- Switching of BIBs between runners is not allowed once the registration has been paid and finalized.
- Switching names is not allowed once the registration has been paid and finalized.
- Switching BIBs on race day is prohibited and both runners will be banned from any BMA races for a duration of 1 year along with a formal letter addressed to the Lebanese Athletics Federation with the violation and proof.
- Nobody can run the course without official registration & a BIB Number.
- Bicycles, in-line skates, prams, push carts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers and any other wheel-run objects are not allowed on the course other than official race and medical vehicles. If you are caught with any of these, you will be directed off the route.
- Pets are forbidden on the course.
- Any BIB changing between two runners disqualify both runners and a 1year ban is effective immediately.
- Taking shortcuts is totally forbidden and is subject to a direct disqualification.
- Any pacing done by a person on a moving vehicle (car, motorcycle, bike, and rollers) is a disqualifying violation and especially when it comes from agents or coaches.
- A runner pushing or conveying any other runner is a disqualifying violation.
- Riding any vehicle even for a brief moment is also a disqualifying violation.
- Deliberately obstructing or interfering with other competitors is a disqualifying violation.
- The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Event race routes as they deem fit for the safety of the Participants and/or to prevent any potential hazards in the running of the Event, at any time without prior notice to the Participant. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the Participant prior to the date of the Event. The Organizer shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes.
- The form on the reverse side of the participant's running bib must be completed in full and accurately.
- Participants must wear the assigned bib on his/her chest. Participants who do not display bib numbers will be taken off the course by security officers/officials and immediately disqualified.
- Road closures on the Marathon Route will be lifted after seven hours from commencement of the race (cut-off time). Cut-off times will be set at specific check-points along the route to ensure the safety of runners who are unable to complete the race within seven hours.
- This event is a non-timed recreational run, but we recommend finishing within the
suggested time frames for your own convenience and safety:
- 21.1 KM: 3 hours
- 10 KM: 2 hours
- 5 KM: 1 hour
- 1 KM: 20 minutes
- Please note that roads will remain open to traffic, and there will be no official cut-off times or road closures. All participants run at their own responsibility and should stay alert, follow traffic rules, and heed instructions from event marshals and security personnel.
- Participants who are still on route and choose to continue running after the cut-off time, do so at their own risk.
- A participant must retire from the race immediately, if required to do so by any member of the official medical staff, Race Director, Referee, and/or security officer.
- The Organizer reserves the right to cancel and/or add any race category without prior notice to the Participants.
- Any participant who commences to run before the actual flag-off of his/her registered race category will be immediately disqualified.
- Participants must abide by the age category of their respective races on event day to participate in the timed races.
- Always be respectful of the environment you are using during the event.
- Do not litter the streets with plastic bottles, and always keep the space you use clean
- Political slogans, symbols, or discussions are strictly forbidden during all race-related activities.
- Armed weapons are NOT ALLOWED in or around the race areas or at any time during the event.
- Always be cheerful, supportive, and respectful toward all participants, officials, organizers, staff, and volunteers.
- Please respect the volunteers who are there to assist you and adhere to the instructions they give you.
- When addressing any staff member on the ground, always be mindful, courteous, and respectful. They are there to ensure your safety and a successful event for all.
- If you see a fellow runner or participant experiencing a medical condition or appearing in distress, kindly stop and check if they require assistance. If help is needed, immediately contact the race organizers, the Red Cross team, or the nearest official to ensure the runner receives proper medical attention. Your awareness and action can make a life- saving difference.
- Please wear proper attire before, during, and after the race (no nudity). Sports attire must be worn at all times in race areas.
