In 2003 the Beirut Marathon was born with a mission rooted in the ideals of unity and oneness. What began as a simple dream has blossomed into a reality embraced by 50,000 individuals, representing over 109 nationalities, over the span of two decades.
The Beirut International Marathon continues to stand as a beacon of unity, a testament to the idea that we are all ONE HEART, ONE RACE, moving forward together.
Now, more than ever we remain committed to using the unifying force of running to bring Lebanon together.
Beirut has always been a city that defies convention, an outsider with its own unique charm. On that one November day, 48,605 runners filled the heart of our city Beirut with joy and pride by taking part in an event that continues to put Lebanon on the international Map of sports. It celebrated health and causes, perseverance and commitment, good vibes and endless cheers.
